Derby County 2022-23 Pre-Season Home Kit

The club's financial difficulties during the 2021-22 season resulted in a suspension of work on the official 2022-23 kit designs. This delay meant the kits could not be completed in time for the start of pre-season activities. To address this issue, Derby County (following their exit from administration) placed a limited order with Umbro for substitute shirts taken from their standard teamwear range for use in their pre-season friendlies. These temporary shirts are expected to serve only a preparatory function and will not feature in competitive fixtures, therefore they will not be sold commercially. The club intends to distribute the worn shirts from these matches as complimentary items to selected supporters.
