Venezia and NOCTA unveiled the club's 2026/27 third kit on 9 September 2026. It is the third shirt in NOCTA's rollout for the season, following home and away releases in the same week, and introduces a new alternative Winged Lion crest as part of an expanding visual identity for the club.
The design
The shirt is built around the concept of "Future Memory", a reference to the club's relationship with the history and culture of Venice. A red base carries black raglan-style shoulder and sleeve sections. Gold piping outlines the black polo collar and sleeve cuffs, with a two-button placket at the neckline.
A tonal checkerboard jacquard runs across the red body, incorporating a series of nautical signal flags that spell out "VENEZIA". The pattern nods to the city's maritime history, while the collar construction and overall proportions draw on shirts from the 1990s.
Gold NOCTA branding sits on the right chest, opposite the new alternative Winged Lion crest on a black shield. Gold NOCTA star graphics appear on the black sleeves, and "Venezia Football Club" is printed in script beneath the rear collar. The match version carries Cynar Spritz across the front, with PokerStarsNews and GWM as secondary sponsors. Both replica and match versions use a lightweight performance fabric with breathable mesh panels beneath the sleeves.
Red shorts with black and gold edging are paired with red socks featuring wide black sections, fine gold bands and NOCTA detailing.
The story
The alternative Winged Lion crest is the headline element of the release. Rather than replacing Venezia FC's existing badge, it sits alongside it as part of NOCTA's broader identity project for the club. The "Future Memory" concept runs through the whole design: the nautical flag jacquard and the maritime references are specific to Venice, while the 1990s shirt proportions tie it to a particular era in football kit history. NOCTA's approach across all three 2026/27 Venezia kits has been to build a layered visual identity rather than produce seasonal kits in isolation.
