Union Berlin and adidas have released the home kit for the 2026/27 Bundesliga season on 8 June 2026. The shirt takes its design from the stadium the club calls home.
The design
The shirt is red throughout with a tonal embossed pattern running across the front, sleeves and back. The pattern is directly inspired by the roof structure of Stadion An der Alten Försterei, the club's ground in the Köpenick district of Berlin. Three white adidas stripes run over the shoulders.
The collar is a red V-neck with white trim, matched by white detailing on the sleeve cuffs. The full-colour woven crest sits on the left chest. On the back, "1. FC Union Berlin" appears below the neckline with the "U.N.V.E.U" detail positioned above. The Raisin sponsor appears on the front, Kermi on the right sleeve. The full kit pairs with red shorts and red socks.
The same shirt is worn by both the men's and women's professional teams.
The story
Stadion An der Alten Försterei is one of the most distinctive grounds in German football: a compact, atmospheric stadium that the Union fanbase helped to rebuild by hand in 2009. Using its roof structure as the design source ties the shirt directly to the place and the people who define the club's identity.
