RCD Mallorca 2026-27 home kit by Nike: red and black split

Nike have released the RCD Mallorca home kit for 2026-27. It is one of the more striking La Liga shirts of the cycle: a vertical split between Mallorca red on the right side and deep black on the left, carried consistently across the front and the sleeves.

The design

The front is divided down the middle. The wearer's right side is in vibrant Mallorca red, the left in deep black. The club crest sits on the black half, over the heart. The Nike Swoosh appears in white on the red half. The main sponsor, αGEL by Taica, runs across the chest in white.

The sleeves follow the same colour blocking as the front, with thick black cuffs. The back keeps a solid red upper section for number legibility, with colour-blocked panels in red and black at the hem. A secondary sponsor, Juaneda Hospitales, is printed below the collar on the back.

The overall effect is bold. Mallorca are not a club that usually attracts attention for kit design, but this shirt is hard to ignore.

The background

Mallorca's nickname is Los Bermellones, the Vermilions, and red has been the club's dominant colour throughout their history. The split design pushes that identity into sharper contrast by pairing it with black rather than softening it with a traditional white accent. It is a different approach to the club's usual palette, and one that fits into Nike's broader La Liga output for this cycle, which has favoured bold graphic statements over classic templates.

RCD Mallorca play on the Balearic island of Mallorca and currently compete in La Liga. The club have had an eventful recent history, including a period in the lower divisions before returning to the top flight.
