Leeds United and adidas have revealed the away kit for the 2026/27 season, released on 4 June 2026. The shirt doubles as a tribute to the city of Leeds marking its 400th anniversary, and brings back a design detail that has been absent from the club's kits for nearly three decades.
The design
The shirt is built on an EQT Yellow base with a tonal all-over pattern made up of Yorkshire rose graphics and decorative diamond shapes. The V-neck collar is white and night navy with matching trim on the sleeve cuffs. Navy adidas stripes run across the sleeves, with the adidas Trefoil on the right chest and the Red Bull sponsor in navy across the front.
The most notable detail is the white rose club crest on the left chest, which appears for the first time since the 1998/99 season. The full kit uses night navy shorts with yellow adidas stripes and a white rose crest, finished with yellow socks carrying navy striping and LUFC lettering.
The story
The Yorkshire rose all-over print and the return of the white rose crest are both tied to the 400th anniversary of the city of Leeds. The decision to revive the white rose badge rather than the current standard crest gives the shirt a direct visual link to the club's late-1990s kits, a period that coincided with Leeds' return to European competition under George Graham and then David O'Leary.
