Much like Valencia's 2003-2004 Nike outfit, which incorporated black sleeves and lacked orange in its design, the new Joma Valencia Kit's most notable elements are its black sleeves and the absence of the orange shade. It includes a two-tone round neckline that combines black and white, along with a distinctive Double application. The collar's interior displays the championship-winning squad that claimed both the UEFA Cup and La Liga titles - featuring athletes including Cañizares, Rubén Baraja, Albelda and Pablo Aimar as well as manager Rafa Benitez, who would subsequently move to Liverpool following the campaign.
