In-house manufacturing was responsible for the USA's 1972 home kit. The shirt showcased a traditional white foundation, incorporating a V-neck collar with dark red and dark blue edging on both the collar and sleeve cuffs. On the left chest area, a predominantly red shield-shaped badge was displayed.
