During the 1954 FIFA World Cup, Turkey's home kit for that year was manufactured internally. The garment consisted of long sleeves and a laced collar set against a white background. A distinctive red stripe running horizontally across the chest served as a focal point, bearing a white crescent moon and star insignia within it.
