To commemorate their departing striker Miroslav Klose, who exited the club following a five-year tenure in summer 2016, Lazio donned a commemorative kit during a Serie A encounter with Fiorentina. Featuring German text reading 'Danke Miro' (meaning Thank you Miro), the special Lazio 2016 Miroslav Klose Jersey displays the years 2011 and 2016 across its front as a farewell to their number 11. In all other respects, the garment matches the conventional Lazio Away Strip.
