Sporting Gijon
Sporting Gijón 2025-26 Fourth Kit
Sporting Gijón can’t wear either of their two main kits due to colour clashes with Mirandés — Sporting’s first shirt isred and white, while the second is black. As a result, the Asturian club plans to debut their new third kit: a white shirt with red collar details featuring the earliest known crest in the club’s history. However, that plan faces complications. The issue lies with the crest itself, which is not yet officially registered. Sporting is currently working with the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office (OEPM) to secure its validation, but the registration will not be completed in time for Friday’s match against Mirandés. Therefore, Sporting cannot wear the much-anticipated Puma third shirt that has drawn strong interest from supporters. With no suitable option among their three kits for the season, Sporting is forced to improvise. The team will wear an entirely new fluorescent yellow shirt, similar in style to their training tops but fitted with official competition patches, sponsor logos, and player numbers. The club prepares a limited batch of around 80 shirts — just enough for the matchday requirements — and this unique kit will not be made available for sale. The outfit is completed with white shorts, creating a one-off look for the match against Mirandés, and it will only be used this one time.
