A sincere acknowledgment of the founding members who established the club during 1900. The earliest documented mention of RCD Espanyol's establishment was published on October 28th, 1900, in the Los Deportes publication, which announced the founding of a fresh football organization called Sociedad Española de Foot-ball. This piece, recognized as the club's founding document, demonstrated the surging interest in football across Barcelona during that period. Based on founder Ángel Rodríguez's account, Espanyol's initial kit featured yellow and black: "One of our members operated a textile business and generously provided yellow material for our uniforms." La Veu de Catalunya similarly reported that inaugural kit as "yellow and black, finished with a beret." The earliest accessible photo of the organization was captured late that year, positioned near the under-construction Sagrada Família. A quarter-century later, RCD Espanyol, alongside its Foundation, honors those original founding members through this special commemorative jersey. Created with a vintage aesthetic, it revives the club's original yellow and black palette from the 1900 outfit, merging tradition with refinement. Its most noteworthy features comprise the four-leaf clover motif — an Art Nouveau detail sourced from that original Los Deportes piece — and the complete transcription of the founding declaration on the front, standing as a testament to the club's foundation and lasting character.
