During the Manchester Derby on March 8, 2020, the Manchester City players took to the Old Trafford pitch with ‘Same CitySame Passion’ embroidered into their shirts as the club celebrates International Women’s Day 2020. The club wide ‘Same City Same Passion’ campaign is committed to promoting women’s football by demonstrating that the same skills, passion and excitement exists in the women’s game as in the men’s.
