During their UEFA European Championship campaign, Italy's 1988 home kit was produced by Diadora and showcased a solid blue design. This uniform was decorated with a green, white, and red striped pattern on both the collar and the edges of the sleeves. The emblem of the national team was placed on the left side of the chest.
