The 2003 Bam earthquake stands among Iran's most severe seismic events, resulting in approximately 34,000 fatalities and over 200,000 injuries. To commemorate the disaster, a distinctive uniform was created for the 2004 charity football match benefiting Bam victims, played between Iran and Germany at Tehran's Azadi Stadium. The kit featured the phrase "Bam is alive" along with its Persian equivalent "بم زنده است".
