# Rewritten Text Back in 2013, a collaborative effort brought together Sankt Pauli, equipment manufacturer Do You Football, and main backer 'Deutsche Fernsehlotterie' to launch a design competition aimed at gathering submissions from creative concept designers. From a total pool of approximately 500 submissions, a panel of judges selected 5 designs to proceed to an online public vote. The winning concept became this distinctive Do You Football Sankt Pauli 2012-2013 special-edition strip, which was subsequently debuted during a home fixture versus Hertha Berlin in the German 2nd Bundesliga, ending in a 2-3 result.
