Ecuador 2001 GK Special Kit
A curious incident occurred in Quito in March 2001. During the South American qualifiers for the 2002 World Cup, Ecuadorian goalkeeper José Francisco Cevallos took to the field wearing Oliver Kahn's kit to face Brazil. Minutes before the match, the referee forced him to change, as his initial uniform could cause visual similarities with the Brazilian team's kit. Ecuador would go on to win 1-0 with a goal by Agustín Delgado.
