The new Hummel Denmark home kit takes a more restrained approach in contrast to its rather bold away counterpart. With red as its dominant color, it incorporates understated elements, including a Danish flag-inspired cross positioned on the right sleeve cuff. White trim at the collar and hem provides striking contrast against the shirt's primary color. An understated design derived from a Viking breastplate appears on the upper torso, upper arms and lower section of the Denmark kit, while an embossed depiction of the legendary Holger Danske—a mythical figure believed to awaken and guide Denmark to triumph during times of crisis—is located on the shirt's lower front center. The neck tape interior and bottom lining of the Hummel Denmark 2016-2017 home shirt bear the DBU motto 'A part of something bigger'. The Denmark kit's shorts are white, with the socks rendered in red.
