As announced by the club, the new Celtic kit is inspired by Celtic's greatest ever side, the one that won the European Cup in 1967 and is since known as the Lisbon Lions. Therefore, the Celtic 2017-18 home kit features the traditional green and white hoops in the most traditional, no-nonsense way possible. The green and white base of the Celtic 2017-2018 home kit is accompanied by shiny gold logos, including a special, monochrome version of the club crest which includes an inscription about the 1967 triumph. The crest also appears on the away and third options.
