Brazil 1989 Special Kit

On August 25, 1988, a major fire broke out in the Chiado district of Lisbon, affecting offices and stores. Eighteen thousand buildings were completely destroyed. More than 1,100 firefighters and over 120 vehicles were involved in extinguishing the blaze. Total destruction... In January 1989, a group of Brazilian players competing in Portugal played a match against the Portuguese national team to raise funds for the victims and address other issues caused by the fire. The match took place at the Estádio da Luz in Lisbon. It was endorsed by the CBF and Topper, who supplied uniforms for the Brazilian national team at the time. Adidas produced the shirt through its licensed partner SportPro in Portugal, and Coca-Cola sponsored it.
