Celebrating the 40th anniversary of the club's Bundesliga debut, Bayer Leverkusen and technical sponsor Jako launched aspecial-edition kit. The limited-edition jersey is inspired by the design worn in the 1978-79 season, which saw Leverkusen get promoted to the top tier of German football for the first time.
