During their triumphant 1978 FIFA World Cup campaign, Argentina's second goalkeeper kit was manufactured by adidas and featured a dark blue shirt. The design incorporated a white polo collar, a white adidas Trefoil emblem, and white three-stripe detailing on the sleeves. Black shorts with a white number and white side stripe finished the uniform.
