Mixing together the red of the home kit with yellow, blue and white, traditional colors of the Mainz carnival, one of the most important carnival events in Germany, the Mainz 2016 Carnival jersey is anything but usual. Whereas the traditional red forms most of the uniform, the raglan sleeves boast a completely unique striping pattern, while the collar is blue.
