Asics

Asics is a Japanese multinational corporation founded in 1949 in Kobe by Kihachiro Onitsuka, initially as a basketball shoe company. The name is an acronym for the Latin phrase "Anima Sana In Corpore Sano" (a sound mind in a sound body). Asics entered football kit manufacturing primarily to serve the Japanese market, supplying J.League clubs and the Japan national team across several periods.
